Magic Items

The frog-creatures' horde

Beautiful harp

Owner: Ackrak (held by Gycco)

Though beautiful, and likely somewhat valuable to a collector, this item doesn't seem particularly useful, other than for performing music. Its powers remain to be seen.

This is an artifact-level item.

Blackened tome

Owner: Ghamor

This item has revealed two separate and distinct powers, both of which require the user to have the tome in his possession for at least 24 hours before use:

Mirror of Life Trapping

Owner: none (destroyed)

Likely the original mirror of life-trapping, this magical item was found in the treasure horde beneath the Isle of Strange Shifting Stones. The party became trapped in the mirror for over a year, carrying only their recently-acquired artifacts, to be released by Liola and their crew.

The action of releasing the party necessitated the destruction of the mirror, and was only made possible through the use of the scythe once wielded by the "boneskin knight."

Plain-looking pitcher

Owner: Ghamor (held by Xiao Nan)

This pitcher doesn't appear to be very valuable or even particularly useful, other than for holding liquid. Its powers remain to be seen.

This is an artifact-level item.

Shiny red sash

Owner: Ackrak

This item seems to enhance Ackrak's already impressive intimidation skills and give him a limited ability to jump or glide great distances.

This items confers the following abilities/bonuses, though they require the user to wear them for at least 24 hours before they come into effect:

Skull flail

Owner: Krokius

Staff of Apollo

Owner: Seikius

Seikius was "sent" on a mission by Apollo in the form of a vision to retrieve this item from the horde of the frog-creatures. Upon grasping the staff, Seikius was overcome by a surge of divine energy, purging his body of all ailments and curses, and further rendering his flesh pure, such that he can't come into contact with objects of an evil nature without feeling a degree of discomfort.

It was recently "revealed" to Seikius, by a priest of Apollo, that if Apollo did indeed send him to retrieve the staff, then it was intended for his use, rather than for it to be returned to Apollo.

This is an artifact-level item.

War Bracers of Ares

Owner: Seikius

"Identified" by a priest of Ares as a poor replica of a real artifact. The "real" bracers are said to confer fantastic fighting abilities to the wearer, as well as a weapon that may be summoned at will.

This items confers the following abilities/bonuses, though they require the user to wear them for at least 24 hours before they come into effect:

This is an artifact-level item.

The boneskin knight

Magic armor

Owner: none

Found on the body of the "boneskin knight," this item has yet to reveal its powers.

It seems to be indestructible by normal means, and so the party is looking into other methods of destroying this item.

Magic scythe

Owner: none

Found on the body of the "boneskin knight," this item has yet to reveal its powers.

Ghamor seems able to wield this over-sized scythe without any difficult, and seems to revel in dispatching fallen foes with it.

When the party is released from the Mirror of Life-Trapping, it is revealed that Liola and the crew used this scythe in order to destroy the mirror. Apparently, the scythe has many unknown properties.

This is likely an artifact-level item, given its unique ability to destroy another artifact (such as the Mirror of Life-Trapping).

The waterfall room

Elephant statue

Owner: The party

This statue of a humanoid elephant is in a meditative pose. Upon inspection, it showed signs of having been moved to the "waterfall room" from somewhere else, and the party got it into their heads to lug it with them. Sekius believes the statue will be valuable to the right buyer.

The bugbear pirates

Female bugbear totem

Owner: Ackrak

This totem resembles a fat female Bugbear, missing its head like in the legends of Grendel. The party refers to it as "bugbear p0rn".
